Hi - I'm based in Ashland, Oregon. I specialize in bird photography but am more of an opportunistic photographer. My excitement comes from being outdoors, seeing, absorbing, and learning about nature.
Since I'm also a birder my first goal is to capture the details of each bird species. It's one of my basic learning tools. My second goal is to capture the bird's living environment. On photography's spectrum of documentation to being artistic, I position myself in the middle, balancing these two extremes.
